SM4 is the result of 22 years of software evolution from SM1 in 1983. The two owners of Abelson ommunications, Inc. -- the company that wrote SM4 -- have a combined 35 years advertising space sales experience. As "our baby", we are continually improving this software to make it as good as it can possibly be.

It is an advertising/production tracking and contact sales program that gives you simplicity, power and flexibility in how you work. In addition to putting all our software design experience behind SM4, we listen to all input, even from people who don't buy anything from us, evaluate it and -- if it is a good idea -- include it in the next update.

SM4 manages accounts and prospects, tracks advertising and production and provides in depth and summary reporting on everything in your system. SM4 has seamless links MS Word and WordPerfect, accounting, email, and external systems that help you sell and market.

 

SM4 gives ad space people and management a single shared interface to manage your contact sales, ad tracking, production and (with access control) accounting.

 

SM4 generates reports bthat will put many smiles on your face. The reports in SM4 include invoices, confirmations, contract reports, advertising reports with a choice of sorts and levels of detail, commission reports, call reports, company reports, sales reports, ad agency reports, share of market reports, assigned position reports and invoice and aging reports*. Just in case the stock library of reports is missing something, there is also a built in report generator. All the reports in SM4 may be exported to spread sheets, Microsoft Word or other databases.

 

The Reporting in SM4 is sales' an management's key to complete information for what has been done, what will be done and what is needed to get future goals on track.

 

All Reports Have Multiple Sorts, Filters and Levels of Detail

 

With SM4 you may import data from external sources with or without duplicate checking turned on.

 

SM4 includes its own accounting software or links to your accounting program. With the newest version of SM4, you now have the option to use internal Accounts Receivables (part of SM4) or link to your own accounting software. There is no additional charge for either choice.

 

SM4 has strong links to Visual AccountMate Software®. When you buy the complete system from us we give you those links for free. We have also written the links for Peachtree®, QuickBooks® and MAS 90® . As stated earlier, links between SM4 and your accounting program incur no extra charges.
