- We support all Windows versions and older Novell. We have a client running on Linux, though we do not support it directly
- For access via the internet we recommend Terminal Services & Remote Desktop
- How does SM4 compare to ACT!, Goldmine, Saleslogix, etc.?
- SM4 did take ideas from ACT!, Goldmine, Saleslogix and other programs. However, its interface and how it works never attempted to emulate anything else. If you know one of the other packages, learning SM4 will not be difficult.
- How many ads can SM4 track at one time?
- 2,000,000,000 (2 billion)
- You may mix display, classified & web advertising.
- How many publications, rate cards and media types can SM4 track simultaneously?
- Can I track competitive advertising?
- Yes. There are two levels. The basic level is included in SM4 and does tracking and reporting.
- The advanced level costs extra money and has enhanced reporting and a Quick Entry feature for tracked ads.

- What kind of training and support is available?
- Most new clients opt for on site training. We can also train via the internet. Training is not required, but is recommended..
- Support is by prepaid retainer and is usually within 1hour.
- The amount of included training and support will be specified when you buy SM4.
- Can Reports be saved and exported?
- All reports can be exported, most to pdf, spreadsheet, word processing or other databases.
- What are the annual maintenance costs of owning SM4?
- For 5-10 users as little as $1,000 per year if you want free upgrades.
